Royal Jelly is a 100% natural substance that is secreted by the been and used as food for the queen bee throughout her life. It accounts for the different development of the queen bee in comparison with the other bees in the hive.

Royal jelly is rich in, Carbohydrates (sugars amongst others), Proteins (royalisin, apisimin, apidaecin, abaecin, hymenoptaecin and apalbumin amongst others), Amino acids, Fats, Minerals (potassium, magnesium, calcium, iron phosphorus, manganeso, silicon, etc..) and Vitamins (a high proportion of B5 but also B1,B2,B6,B8,B9, C and PP).

The honey gives this product its notable sweetness (royal jelly on its own is acidic and bitter) and its flavour.
