Origin

The Thyme is part of the dry bushes of the oak woods predominantly in the mountains of the Iberian System.

Characteristics

Clear amber color with a strong and persistent floral aroma with a very marked and characteristic phenolic component. Sweet to the taste with clear acidic, and sometimes salty, notes.

Uses and Combinations

Traditionally used as an antiseptic and as a remedy for throat and skin infections, although it can also be used to stimulate digestion.
This potently flavored honey is ideal for those who enjoy powerful sensations and for culinary preparations with an array of aromas and which require a long cooking time. Good with strong infusions, cured cheese, braised and roasted meats.
